Overview of Cuc Phuong National Park

Cuc Phuong National Park is a nature reserve. This park has a rich flora and fauna system and it has the characteristics of tropical rainforests. Many highly endangered plants and animals have been discovered and preserved here. This is also the first national park in Vietnam.

Cuc Phuong botanical garden: This is an area built to collect rare plants of Cuc Phuong, Vietnam and the World.

Visitor center: it was built by AusAid and FFI organizations and it was also the first tourist education center established in Indochina. This is a place to visit and also a place where visitors make necessary procedures before visiting the forest.

Center for rescue, conservation, and development of organisms: Rescue, preserve and develop rare and precious wildlife species that are endangered in Vietnam.

Primate Rescue Center: It is responsible for rescuing and preserving individual rare primates

Pho Ma cave: Walking distance to visit Pho Ma cave from Yen Quang No. 3 lake is about 2 km long, you must prepare specialized shoes, drinking water and must have a guide of Cuc Phuong park.

Yen Quang Lake: This lake has a small island. There is one ancient temple on the island. This lake is the convergence of many water birds.

Silver cloud peak: it is the highest peak in Cuc Phuong forest with a height of 648m. Up to the top of the mountain, visitors can see the panorama of forests and plains of 3 provinces of Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa.
